The Estate Manager for a mixed agricultural and commercial rural estate needed to ensure compliance with the Asbestos Regulations. This had to be done in a way which was cost effective, practical and understandable and with sensitivity for the agricultural occupiers and their farm premises. Our solution Our asbestos surveyors, several from an agricultural background, were able to efficiently survey the Estate buildings, and provide clear and concise asbestos management plans for each farm, and for the estate as a whole. The plans also contained clear, relevant guidance to enable the landowner, tenants and contractors to comply with the regulations. We were also able to provide advice on remedial actions where they were needed, as well as potential exemption from Landfill Tax. And its benefits The client and estate tenants achieved compliance with the Asbestos Regulations. As part of the management plans, they also were provided with clear farmstead survey plans, useful for other purposes.
